A bronzed romantic figural group depicting an entwined male and female couple in an intimate, kneeling embrace. The sculpture is rendered in a contemporary style with elongated, fluid limbs and highly textured, cascading hair. The figures are positioned on an integral base with a naturalistic, rock-like textured finish that blends into draped fabric-like forms. The piece is finished with a dark brown patinated effect over a cast resin? body. The male figure is shown from the back, displaying muscular definition, while the female figure is cradled in his arms, her head tilted back. No maker’s marks, signatures, or inscriptions are readable on the exterior surfaces of the sculpture.
