An assortment of decorative items featuring a pair of tall candlesticks produced for Besmo. Each candlestick is hand-painted with a repeating white and black volute or spiral pattern on a textured ground, featuring an undulating stem and flared base. The underside of one base is hand-incised with the wording SPECIALLY HAND MADE IN KENYA FOR BESMO, accompanied by a silver-coloured foil adhesive label printed with the Besmo logo. The lot also includes a bronzed? sculpture depicting a trio of leaping dolphins mounted on a churning wave-effect base, and a small white bisque porcelain? / plaster? bust of a young woman in classical style with a serene expression, set upon a circular pedestal.
