A full-sized violin outfit by Blessing of Chinese manufacture. The instrument is constructed with a carved spruce top and a two-piece maple back and sides, finished in a warm amber-toned varnish. It features a darkened hardwood fingerboard, likely ebony, and a carved rosewood? tailpiece and chin rest. A metal plaque riveted to the side of the case is printed with the characters 幸 福, followed by BLESSING, and MADE IN CHINA. The outfit includes a wooden bow and a shaped hard-shell carrying case with a green fabric interior lining.
