A British sterling silver ingot pendant of rectangular form, featuring a modernist brutalist bark texture to both the obverse and reverse faces. The front of the pendant is struck with a series of five large decorative hallmarks. These include a rectangular cartouche containing the maker’s initials D & C for David & Co ?, a circular stamp featuring a Tudor rose commemorating the 1977 Queen Elizabeth II Silver Jubilee, a lion passant for sterling silver, a lowercase date letter e, and a leopard’s head for the London Assay Office. The pendant is fitted with a simple circular suspension loop at the top. The surface shows a high-relief cast texture with vertical striations and recessed areas of darker oxidation.
