The lot includes a Royal Artillery cap badge constructed from gilt metal effect brass, featuring a field gun surmounted by a crown with a rotating wheel and a scroll inscribed QUO FAS ET GLORIA DUCUNT. Also included are two three-tier curved brass shoulder titles for the Sherwood Foresters, each inscribed NOTTS AND DERBY. A single curved brass shoulder title is inscribed NORTHAMPTON for the Northamptonshire Regiment. The collection further comprises a circular white metal? qualification badge featuring two crossed rifles in gilt metal effect brass mounted to the front. Additionally, a white metal? figure of Mercury, commonly known as Jimmy, is mounted upon a shield-shaped brass backing plate, standing on a globe above a scroll inscribed CERTA. Several pieces retain their original mounting lugs or sliders to the reverse.
