A hand-painted resin figurine group from The Camberwick Green Collection, produced by Robert Harrop Designs Limited. The piece features two characters from the classic British stop-motion television series; The Mayor is depicted seated at a wooden-effect desk in ceremonial robes and a chain of office, while Mr Troop stands alongside holding a document. The figures are mounted on an oval burgundy-textured base. The underside of the base bears a circular adhesive label printed with the series logo and text: ‘The Camberwick Green Collection’, ‘© G.M. (Trumps) Ltd 2011’, ‘CG125’, ‘THE MAYOR & MR TROOP’, ‘ “IT’S A BUSY LIFE BEING A MAYOR!” ‘, and ‘Robert Harrop Designs Limited’. The figurine is accompanied by its original cream-coloured card box, which features a repeating logo pattern for ‘Robert Harrop ORIGINALITY BY DESIGNS’ and the manufacturer’s Shropshire address. An illustrative character card is also included.
