A hand-painted resin musical box produced by Robert Harrop Designs Limited as part of the Camberwick Green Collection. The piece is modelled as Mickey Murphy’s Baker’s Van, featuring the characters Mickey Murphy at the wheel and two children as passengers. The van is finished in chocolate brown and cream, decorated with a silver-toned banner reading Bread, Cakes, Buns, Rolls, and the side inscription MURPHY’S BAKERS. The model is mounted on a textured grey rectangular base designed to simulate a cobbled road. To the rear of the van is a metal wind-up musical key. The underside of the base bears a green printed circular label which reads The Camberwick Green Collection, CGMB5 MICKEY MURPHY’S BAKER’S VAN MUSICAL BOX, First Edition, Robert Harrop Designs Limited. A rectangular box on the label states LIMITED EDITION 0036/2,000 with the number handwritten in black ink. The copyright notice attributes the license to Gordon Murray (Trumptonshire) Ltd 2005 and Link Licensing Ltd. The item is accompanied by its original green branded Robert Harrop cardboard box.
