The lot includes a large black glazed vase of ovoid form with a flared rim and foot, featuring polychrome transfer-printed bands depicting classical figures in Greek? or Roman? attire, bordered by geometric and foliate designs. Also present is a bulbous earthenware vessel with a deep cobalt blue glaze and raised white slip-trailed floral decoration. A tall cylindrical vase features a textured cream ‘bark’ finish with high-relief majolica-style moulded iris flowers and leaves, bearing the incised word IRIS near the base. The collection further comprises several pastel light blue/green glazed teacups and saucers, a dark blue glazed cream jug, and a small white earthenware jug decorated with hand-painted floral sprays in orange, blue, and red. A small ceramic figural cottage and an unidentified electronic device with a white UK BS 1363 3-pin mains plug are also included.
