A Robert Harrop resin figurine from The Camberwick Green Collection, based on the Gordon Murray stop-motion animation series. The piece depicts the character Private Meek in a traditional scarlet military tunic with white cross-belts, black trousers, and a black shako with a white plume. He is portrayed in a standing pose, cradling a baby wrapped in a white blanket in his left arm while holding a rifle in his right hand. The figurine is mounted on a textured grey circular base.
The underside of the base features a green felt covering with a white adhesive label reading: ‘The Camberwick Green Collection’, ‘© G.M. (Trumps) Ltd. 2013.’, ‘CGS24’, ‘PRIVATE MEEK’, ‘CAPTAIN SNORT EPISODE’, ‘Limited Edition 49’, and ‘Robert Harrop Designs Limited’. The number ’49’ is handwritten in black ink. The lot is accompanied by its original cream-coloured cardboard box printed with the Robert Harrop logo and a promotional leaflet for the Robert Harrop Collectors Club.
