A large-format colour lithograph after an interior genre painting by Frank Moss Bennett (1874–1952). The scene, characteristic of the artist’s historical revival style, depicts three gentlemen in 18th-century attire, including red coats and tricorn hats, gathered within a grand wood-panelled library. The composition features extensive bookshelves, a leaded glass window, and a large framed painting in the background. The print is housed in a white wooden frame with a textured inner slip and protected by glass. The lower right corner of the image is printed with the signature and date F. M. Bennett 1933. The white margin below the image to the right is printed with F. M. Bennett. The far left margin bears the publication details: Published in 1933 by Venture Prints Ltd. Bristol England. Copyright in all countries including the U.S.A. Printed in England. The reverse is finished with a hardboard backing secured by screws and fitted with a metal hanging chain.
