A collection of promotional ceramic breakfast-ware produced for the Danish butter brand Lurpak. The lot includes a four-slot toast rack and two matching egg cups, all finished in a glossy cream-toned glaze. The toast rack features five vertical dividers, with the central divider topped by a spherical finial. The right-hand end is decorated with a three-dimensional figure of Douglas, the brand’s mascot, leaning against the final divider in a relaxed pose. Each egg cup is supported by a further figure of Douglas; one is depicted in a kneeling pose supporting the cup bowl on his back, while the second is in a walking stance, appearing to carry the bowl above his head. Each piece is decorated with a printed blue LURPAK mark accompanied by a multi-coloured crest featuring a red and blue shield and stylized lurs.
