A Masonic fraternal collarette, identified by its distinctive construction as a Craft Past Master’s collar. The piece is fashioned from light blue watered silk (moiré) ribbon, formed into a V-shape. The ribbon is decorated with two parallel bands of gold-toned gilt-metal effect braid, which meet at the base of the collar. A circular metal boss with a textured, chequered pattern is positioned at the junction of the braids. Suspended from a white metal ring at the apex is a fraternal jewel. This jewel is cast in white metal and depicts the square and compasses open over a stylized cornucopia overflowing with fruit and grain. The pivot of the compasses features a circular boss with a relief design; however, the characters within this mark are not legible. The reverse of the collar is lined with a coordinating plain light blue fabric.
