A collection of English bone china comprising two partial tea services. The first group is a Royal Albert service in the Carnation pattern from the Friendship Series of 12. Each piece is decorated with transfer-printed pink carnations and green foliage against a white ground, finished with gilded scalloped rims. The service includes teacups, saucers, tea plates, an open sugar bowl, and a creamer. The base of the pieces bears a pink transfer mark featuring a crown device above the text ROYAL ALBERT, Bone China, ENGLAND, FRIENDSHIP, SERIES OF 12, CARNATION. The second group is a partial service by Ashley, featuring a pale blue ground with a wide border of transfer-printed gold-tone stylized leaves and gilded rims. This service consists of teacups and saucers. The base of these pieces features a gold-tone transfer mark with a crown symbol above the script Ashley, followed by FINE BONE CHINA, MADE IN ENGLAND, and 22 KT. GOLD, with a hand-painted number 49.
