A collection of underglaze transfer printed earthenware table and service ware, comprising pieces in blue and red landscape patterns. The blue and white items feature various pastoral and architectural scenes, including ruins and cottages within dense floral and foliate borders. Included are two graduated water jugs with scroll handles, a large footed bowl, five teacups with matching saucers, a small cream jug, a waste bowl, and five assorted side plates. The collection is complemented by an oval lidded tureen and matching stand decorated with a red transfer print depicting cattle in a river landscape. The underside of the blue saucer bears a circular printed mark with a crown emblem, although the surrounding text is not legible as a name. The red tureen features a stamped mark to the base reading MADE IN ENGLAND.
