A diverse collection of vintage personal effects and household items, primarily of early 20th-century origin. The lot includes a wooden weaving shuttle with metal-capped ends, a wooden boot jack featuring a black ribbed rubber grip, and a pair of metal hair curling tongs with black-finished handles. Optical items are well-represented, featuring a pair of rimless pince-nez spectacles with gold-toned hardware housed in a purple velvet-lined case containing a printed newspaper clipping, alongside round-lens spectacles in a black case with a gold-printed mark reading PRIEST & ASHMORE. Horological interest is provided by an Equity travel alarm clock in a folding tan leather-effect case with a square dial and Arabic numerals. Photographic ephemera includes several glass plates, one contained within a cardboard box printed with Wellington Anti-Screen Plate. A small wooden jewelry box with floral inlay is present, alongside various vanity containers including a black powder compact marked Columbia COMMANDER, an illustrated Nirvana tin by Girard & Cie, and a green plastic jar marked Tattoo. The group is completed by small tools including scissors in a leather sheath and various circular plastic containers holding a selection of costume jewellery.
