The male figure is shown standing in a frock coat, breeches, and ruffled cravat, holding a small bird, possibly a dove. The female figure is depicted in a tiered, ruffled dress and holds a large open fan. Both figures are decorated with extensive gilt-highlighted edges and lace details, set upon circular bases featuring raised floral motifs and gilded scrolls. The facial features are hand-painted with blue eyes and red lips. The base of the male figure bears a blue underglaze mark consisting of a crown symbol above a capital letter N.
