A pair of humorous coloured lithographs from the ‘Dirty Dogs of Paris’ series after the French illustrator Boris O’Klein (1893-1985). The prints depict anthropomorphic dogs, including poodles, terriers, and bulldogs, in various street scenes. The first print features a line of dogs waiting along a wall with a bulldog wearing a red sweater, while the second print shows the group reacting to graffiti on a wall which reads ‘MORT aux CHATS’ (Death to Cats). Each work is signed in pencil to the lower right ‘O’Klein’. The prints are housed in matching red mounts and gilt-wood effect frames with decorative bead moulding.
