A pair of matching vintage educational charts produced by Quaker Oats Limited. These large format paper items are designed as multi-fold folders, opening to reveal a series of colourfully illustrated panels detailing the nutritional science of cereals and the biological process of digestion. The interior sections include “What happens when we eat,” featuring a detailed anatomical diagram of the human torso and head with sixteen labelled organs; “Cereals for energy,” illustrating how plants draw nutrients from air, soil, and water; and “This factory puts the harvest into packets…”, a comprehensive industrial flowchart showing oat processing from arrival to rolling. The final section, “Oats lead the way…”, contains a comparative nutritional table. Each chart bears the printed inscription at the bottom right of the reverse: Issued by Quaker Oats Limited (Education department) 82, Baker Street, London, W.1.
