A pair of framed artworks comprising a needlepoint embroidery and a landscape print. The needlepoint depicts a thatched cottage behind a dense garden featuring foxgloves and hollyhocks, worked in wool or cotton threads. This piece is housed in a substantial dark wooden frame with deeply carved repeating leaf and berry motifs. The verso is enclosed with a wooden board inscribed with the number 52 in dark ink. The second item is a landscape print titled Welford-on-Avon after the original watercolour by A. C. Strachan (1865-1954). The scene portrays a row of thatched cottages along a riverbank with ducks and a horse-drawn cart. It is presented in a double mount within a dark wooden frame featuring a gilt inner edge. A printed label to the lower centre reads WELFORD-ON-AVON by A. C. Strachan (1865-1954).
