A large-scale decorative color print after the French artist Jules Alexandre Grün (1868–1938). The work depicts a crowded and opulent Belle Époque interior dinner party scene, titled elsewhere as The End of Dinner or Le Dîner de Gala. The composition features a group of gentlemen in formal evening dress and ladies in elegant gowns gathered around a long table set with silver, glassware, and floral arrangements under soft lamplight. The print appears to be a photomechanical reproduction with a soft, painterly aesthetic. It is presented in a multi-layered gilt-wood and gesso effect frame under glass, with a cream-colored mount and a narrow red inner border. The reverse of the frame bears a white adhesive label with handwritten text reading THE DINNER PARTY BY JULES GRÜN 1868-1938.
