A collection of unframed artworks including two oil on canvas paintings and several equestrian-themed sketches. The first oil painting is a traditional still life depicting a wicker basket filled with green grapes, two apples, and a pear, situated next to a bright red cooked lobster. The work is executed in a realist style with high-contrast lighting and is signed GEORGE in yellow paint to the upper right corner. The second oil painting is a landscape featuring a large, textured tree on a grassy bank against a muted grey sky, showing impasto foliage techniques and a handwritten 61 in the white margin. The collection also includes several paper sheets featuring pencil or ink sketches of riders on horseback and a hunting scene within an oval border. The canvases are unstretched with white margins bearing various pencil marks including 513 H and 62. The lot is accompanied by a cardboard storage tube bearing two British postage stamps featuring the silhouette of Queen Elizabeth II in purple and red.
