A dry-bone specimen of a male Muntjac deer? (genus Muntiacus) cranium. The skull features the characteristic elongated bony pedicles extending from the frontal bones, supporting a pair of short, simple antlers. The antlers display a dark brown, textured surface with a small brow tine and a main beam curving slightly inwards. The specimen retains the upper maxilla with visible premolars and molars showing moderate wear, though the lower mandible is absent. Large preorbital fossae are visible anterior to the eye sockets. The bone and antler surfaces maintain a natural, unbleached finish with varying degrees of surface staining.
