A vintage full-size wooden cricket bat manufactured by Duncan Fearnley. The bat is constructed from English willow and features a black rubber grip to the handle. The face of the bat displays a large black-printed manufacturer’s logo consisting of three vertical bat shapes within a triangle, below the printed text DUNCAN FEARNLEY WORCESTER – ENGLAND. A small green adhesive label is affixed near the base of the logo reading ENGLISH WILLOW. The face is hand-signed in black ink by two professional county cricket squads. The left column is headed NOTTINGHAMSHIRE C.C.C. and includes legible signatures for John Robinson, Bruce French, Kevin Evans, Tim Robinson, Paul Pollard, Andy Afford, Paul Johnson, and Mike Field-Buss. The right column is headed GLAMORGAN C.C.C. and includes legible signatures for players including Matthew Maynard, Hugh Morris, Steve Watkin, Robert Croft, Adrian Dale, and Mark Frost. The combination of players suggests the signatures were collected circa 1990.
