A Stratton gilt-metal effect powder compact of circular form, featuring a cream enamelled lid decorated with butterflies and thistles. The artwork on the lid bears the printed signature Holmes Gray. This compact is housed within a black fabric pouch and its original white retail box, which includes a brown interior label reading Stratton matching Handbag accessories. Accompanying this is a Stratton Lipview folding lipstick mirror, featuring a green marbled enamel lid with a central gilt-toned sunburst motif. The Lipview is presented in its original gold-toned box with a clear plastic lid printed with the white text by Stratton LIPVIEW. The side of the Lipview box is printed with MADE IN ENGLAND. Both items exhibit typical gilt-metal effect finishes with engraved or moulded decorative elements.
