A large wall mirror of rectangular form, featuring a decorative frame in the Rococo-revival style. The frame is constructed with mitered corners and is heavily ornamented with a high-relief continuous pattern of scrolling acanthus leaves interspersed with berries. The finish is a distressed gilt-metal effect over a dark green verdigris-style base, intended to create an aged appearance. The central clear glass mirror plate features a wide bevelled edge. No manufacturer marks or labels are visible on the frame or mirror plate.
