Two wooden boxes of differing construction and decorative styles. The first is a dark wood casket of rectangular form, featuring iron strapwork, corner brackets, and a large decorative metal lock plate. The lid is secured with three hinges and the exterior is finished in a dark stain, while the interior shows a mottled, dark-painted finish. The second is a rectangular box, likely of Polish? origin, constructed from light-coloured wood with pyrography (pokerwork) decoration. The lid features a central floral motif with red and green painted accents, enclosed within a diamond-shaped border of scrolled patterns, with further scrolled motifs to the sides. The interior is unfinished light wood. The pyrography box has a white adhesive label reading 109 to the lid.
