A collection of three cream-coloured resin figurines designed by Susan Lordi, featuring the characteristic faceless, carved-wood aesthetic with a textured, hand-painted finish. The first sculpture, titled Side by Side?, depicts a seated pair in contemplative poses, with one figure resting their head upon the other’s shoulder. The second group, titled Generations?, features a standing adult figure, a seated adult figure holding a patterned blanket, and a small child leaning against them. The third is a single standing figure titled Surround?, holding a large bouquet of red poppies. The base of the seated pair is incised with the mark © LORDI 2010.
