A collection of 7 inch vinyl singles primarily from the 1960s, 1970s and early 1980s, featuring soul, pop and rock artists. The group includes a UK pressing of The Beatles’ single Love Me Do / P.S. I Love You on the Parlophone label, catalogue number 45-R 4949. This record features the red Parlophone label with silver text and a silver arch reading PARLOPHONE. Also present is David Bowie’s 1980 single Ashes to Ashes / Move on, housed in a picture sleeve featuring the Pierrot artwork. Further records include pressings from the Tamla Motown label such as Nathan Jones by The Supremes (TMG 782) and Lookin’ Through The Windows by The Jackson 5 (TMG 833). The collection is housed in a mix of picture sleeves and plain paper sleeves, several of which bear extensive handwritten annotations in black ink and blue ballpoint pen detailing the artist and title names. One brown paper sleeve is handwritten It Should Have Been Me Yvonne Fair.
