A trio of vintage die-cast fire service vehicles from prominent British manufacturers. The largest is a Corgi Major Simon Snorkel fire engine based on a Bedford chassis, featuring a red body with a grey base and a dual-articulated hydraulic boom. The boom is operated by two chrome-finished control wheels and terminates in a yellow plastic basket containing a firefighter figure and a water cannon. The base is marked CORGI MAJOR TOYS, MADE IN GT. BRITAIN, SIMON SNORKEL FIRE ENGINE, and PATENT NO 804829, while the upper arm is printed SIMON SNORKEL. Included is a Matchbox Super Kings K-15 Merryweather fire engine with a rotating turntable and a three-stage extending grey plastic ladder. The side of the vehicle is marked KENT FIRE BRIGADE and No. 15, with the base marked MATCHBOX Super Kings, K-15 MERRYWEATHER FIRE ENGINE, MADE IN ENGLAND, and copyright 1971 LESNEY PRODUCTS & CO LTD. Completing the lot is a Dinky Toys Land Rover 109 WB fire appliance in red with a white metal base. It features blue emergency lights, a detachable silver-toned ladder, and FIRE SERVICE decals. The base is marked DINKY TOYS, MADE IN ENGLAND, UK PROV. PAT. N° 46371/68, 109 WB., and LAND ROVER.
