The box is printed with the text DINKY TOYS, MATRA F1, and MARQUE DEPOSEE. The Lotus-Climax F/1 is finished in orange and white with number 8 decals and includes a driver-controlled steering mechanism operated by moving the driver figure. It features front and rear aerofoils and a silver-tone engine. The box is printed with CORGI TOYS, 158, LOTUS-CLIMAX F/1, and Made in Gt. Britain Playcraft Toys Ltd. London.
