An assortment of vintage cigarette cards and British philatelic materials, primarily issued by John Player & Sons and the British Post Office. The collection includes a partial set of Player’s Cigarettes Butterflies cards presented in a plastic-sleeved folder, featuring illustrated specimens such as the Adonis Blue, Large Blue, and Camberwell Beauty. A softcover album titled An Album of International Air Liners, issued by John Player & Sons, Imperial Tobacco Co, is present with a printed price of Price One Penny. The lot features numerous bundles of cards, several of which are labelled as full sets, including Player’s Cigarettes The Royal Scotch and Sunbirds, alongside sets from Wills’s Cigarettes depicting motor cars and floral subjects.
