A collection of six vintage die-cast model vehicles, each accompanied by its original illustrated cardboard box. The set includes a light blue Ford Escort (No. 168), a Ford Consul Cortina (No. 139) in blue with opening doors and rear seat backs, and a dark red Luxury Coach (No. 281). Further models comprise a Ford Anglia (No. 155) in turquoise, an Alfa Romeo 1900 ‘Super Sprint’ (No. 185) in cream, and a Vauxhall Viva (No. 136) in white. The vehicles are constructed from die-cast metal with plastic windows, interior seating, and rubber tyres. Several models feature technical mechanisms including fingertip steering, directional control, and four-wheel suspension. Each box is printed with the manufacturer’s details reading MADE IN ENGLAND BY MECCANO LTD alongside the respective model names and numbers.
