An assortment of mid-to-late 20th-century costume jewellery brooches featuring a variety of figural and floral motifs. The group includes a large white metal lizard brooch pavé-set with iridescent aurora borealis rhinestones, and a Maltese cross brooch featuring a central emerald-green glass cabochon surrounded by circular and marquise-cut green rhinestones. A carved wooden brooch in the form of a spaniel’s head is mounted on a card with a handwritten inscription reading £8 Vintage Wooden Dog Brooch. Floral items include a cluster of blue and pink forget-me-not style flowers, a smaller three-dimensional floral spray, and a gilt-metal effect wreath. Further pieces include a butterfly brooch with vibrant green and blue enamel wings, a stylized black enamel animal brooch with floral details, a sleek navy enamel and rhinestone curved brooch, and a circular brooch set with a large mauve glass cabochon. A white plastic? abstract brooch remains in a clear bag. Various markings are present on the reverse of the gilt-metal effect pieces, including a printed mark on a circular card depicting a bird, but these are not clearly legible.
