A Royal Mint sterling silver proof fifty pence coin issued as part of the Winnie the Pooh and Friends collection. The heptagonal coin features a colourised reverse design based on E.H. Shepard’s original illustrations, depicting Christopher Robin descending a staircase while pulling a teddy bear. The reverse is inscribed ‘Christopher Robin’ and includes a small bee motif. The coin is housed in its original clear acrylic magnetic presentation block, which is etched with line illustrations of the Hundred Acre Wood. The lot is accompanied by the illustrated card presentation box, a printed outer cardboard sleeve, and a certificate of authenticity booklet. The outer sleeve is printed with the text ‘THE ROYAL MINT THE ORIGINAL MAKER’, ‘Christopher Robin’, and ‘2020 UK 50P SILVER PROOF COIN’. The certificate of authenticity features a white adhesive label printed with the number ‘10832’.
