A collection of plastic character-themed vehicles and figures produced for McDonald’s Happy Meal promotions, primarily dating from the late 1980s to the early 1990s. The assortment includes various “McDonaldland” characters including Ronald McDonald, The Hamburglar, Grimace, Birdie the Early Bird, The Professor, and Mayor McCheese, alongside a Fry Guy racer and a blue whale? figure. The vehicles feature a variety of mechanisms including friction-powered, pull-back, and wind-up components. Several vehicles are moulded with a yellow or white “M” logo on the hoods or trunks. One red steamroller features a yellow textured roller at the front, and an orange truck driven by Grimace contains yellow plastic chips moulded to resemble french fries. A large standalone Hamburglar figure in red attire features a wind-up key to the side, and a yellow Birdie the Early Bird figure is mounted on an orange base with a cord.
