A pair of large-scale porcelain figures depicting an 18th-century courting couple in the Rococo style. The female figure is portrayed in an elaborate tiered and ruffled gown, holding an open fan. The male figure is dressed in a frock coat, waistcoat, and breeches, holding a bird in his hand. Both pieces are finished in a white glaze with extensive hand-painted gilt highlights outlining the ruffles, lapels, and decorative floral motifs on the integral bases. A circular silver-coloured foil label is attached to the base of each figurine, featuring a crown symbol over a capital N, with the curved text CAPODIMONTE and MADE IN ITALY printed below.
