An assortment of decorative ceramics featuring commemorative, figurative, and landscape motifs. The lot includes a large bulbous white glazed earthenware jardinière decorated with high-relief majolica-style moulded leaves in shades of green and ochre. Also present is a stack of circular earthenware pots with a turquoise-blue exterior glaze and terracotta-toned interiors. The plate collection comprises two large pink-bordered shaped plates with central transfer-printed scenes of children after Bartolomé Esteban Murillo?, and a pair of dark blue-bordered plates with gilded filigree featuring central hand-coloured landscape medallions. The royal commemorative items include a large dark blue and gilt plate printed with the text TO COMMEMORATE THE MARRIAGE OF H.R.H. THE 21st PRINCE OF WALES TO THE LADY DIANA SPENCER and MARRIED 29th JULY 1981 ST PAULS CATHEDRAL, a green floral-bordered plate depicting the royal couple with the text GOD BLESS YOU BOTH AND YOUR BABY, and two smaller turquoise-bordered commemorative plates.
