A collection of display components comprising a matching pair of circular wooden pedestals and two gilded circular frames. Each pedestal is constructed from wood? with a tiered, stepped profile, featuring a dark mahogany-tone finish decorated with a dense, stippled red pattern throughout. The upper surfaces of the bases exhibit circular impressions and central drill holes, suggesting former use as supports for glass domes or clock mechanisms. The two circular frames are decorated with a repeating beaded and foliate moulded pattern, finished in a distressed gilt metal effect over a darker substrate. A yellow adhesive label is present on the top surface of one pedestal, reading 4854. The matchbox shown is for scale only.
