Two cylindrical glazed stoneware storage jars of differing forms. The first jar is finished in a glossy honey-brown salt or bristol glaze and features the word BREAD applied to the front in large black block-lettering stencil or transfer print. It is fitted with a matching domed stoneware lid with a circular knob handle. The second jar is finished in a pale buff or cream-colored glaze and features two integrated lug-style handles to the sides and a double-incised line detail around the upper shoulder. This jar is paired with a flat, circular wooden lid featuring a central turned wood knob. Both vessels show typical kiln effects including small glaze pops and surface abrasions consistent with use.
