An assortment of earthenware ceramics and pottery, primarily featuring British commemorative wares. The collection includes a small oval dish featuring transfer-printed portraits of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth, inscribed MAY 12TH 1937 and CORONATION OF KING GEORGE VI & QUEEN ELIZABETH. A commemorative mug displays a portrait of King George V, and a cup and saucer set features a dove with an olive branch and the words PEACE 1919. Two large decorative plates are finished with scalloped yellow rims and hand-painted botanical designs depicting a bird with berries and pomegranates with grapes. A large chamber pot is decorated with a transfer-printed rose and ribbon motif. The group also contains a novelty white glazed bathtub accessory with a reclining figure, a pitcher with hand-painted floral and geometric patterns, and a small bulbous vase with a blue and green variegated drip-glaze. The collection is completed by a pink cylindrical planter, a scalloped white bowl, a heavy stoneware jar with a green rim, and a floral transfer-printed candlestick. A printed mark is present on the base of the Peace 1919 saucer and the George VI dish, though the factory names are not legible.
