A large table lamp of classic urn form, likely constructed from cast white metal? or spelter with a dark, mottled bronzed finish. The body features a broad, ovoid mid-section with a textured, pitted surface effect, descending to a gadrooned or fluted lower section above a stepped circular base. The lamp is fitted with a polished brass neck and a brass B22 bayonet light socket, which includes an integrated black plastic push-switch and a threaded shade ring. The piece has been rewired with a modern, dark brown twisted fabric-covered flex. A single black plastic grommet is visible at the cable entry point on the base. The underside of the base shows a reddish-brown tone where the dark surface finish has been rubbed.
