A pair of antique wall-mounted light fixtures of swan-neck form, constructed from a dark patinated copper alloy? arm and circular wall plates. The fixtures appear to have been originally designed for gas or as early gas-style electric lights, featuring curved, hollow arms and galleried shade holders. Each arm supports a three-screw metal gallery in a contrasting lighter-toned metal, possibly nickel-plated?, which secures a white opalescent? fluted glass shade. The shades are of dome-shaped form with vertical ribbing and open bases. One fixture retains a vintage brass-toned socket assembly with a small turn-key switch, while the other is incomplete at the socket terminal. The mounting plates show heavy oxidation and verdigris, and the fixtures are currently unwired and in an unfinished state. A metal gallery on one fixture is stamped with the characters RAY.
