A Royal Doulton glazed bone china figurine titled Summer Rose, model number HN 3309. The figure is designed by the artist Peggy Davies and depicts a standing lady in late 18th-century style dress. The figure features light brown hair styled in a high bun and is wearing white elbow-length gloves. The gown comprises a white bodice with pale pink shaded highlights and a voluminous white skirt decorated with printed sprays of pink roses and green foliage. The base features a black transfer print mark consisting of a lion standing upon a crown within a circular border reading ROYAL DOULTON ENGLAND BONE CHINA, surrounded by the words hand made and hand decorated. Further text reads Royal Doulton, HN 3309, SUMMER ROSE, Modelled by, with a script signature Peggy Davies and (C) 1990 ROYAL DOULTON. A small hand-painted dark pigment mark resembling the letter H is located near the vent hole. The original branded cardboard box is included.
