Two vintage pewter lapel pins featuring relief-molded wildlife subjects. The first pin depicts a standing stag in profile with a multi-tined antler rack. The metal is finished with a textured surface to simulate fur and antler grain, with darkened patination in the recessed areas. The reverse is incised with the word ‘Pewter’. The second pin is formed as a Canada goose or similar waterfowl in flight, showing detailed wing feathering and anatomical features. The reverse of the goose pin bears an incised ‘©’ copyright symbol followed by the letter ‘P’, with the remainder of the mark obscured by the attachment post. Both items are fitted with a single sharp pin post and secured by removable butterfly clutch fasteners. The stag pin utilizes a gilt metal effect fastener, while the goose pin is fitted with a white metal fastener.
