A collection of vintage souvenir and advertising folding pocket knives, predominantly featuring British Royal commemorative themes and commercial promotion. The group includes three Royal commemorative pieces: a cream-coloured celluloid? single-blade folder printed Coronation Souvenir MAY 12. 1937. for George VI; a single-blade folder with a colour portrait transfer of Queen Elizabeth II in coronation robes, printed Queen Elizabeth II Coronation 1953; and a white celluloid? folder printed Silver Jubilee 1952-1977 with an E II R monogram. A multi-blade souvenir folder features a yellow celluloid? handle depicting an R.C.M.P. Canada officer on horseback, while another displays Irish landmarks printed CELTIC CROSS and NELSON PILLAR DUBLIN. Advertising items include a mother-of-pearl effect folder printed Sharps the word for TOFFEE and another embossed with gilt lettering BUY AN AUSTIN AND BE PROUD OF IT. A slim metal-handled knife is embossed Velmar. The collection is completed by a small novelty corkscrew knife featuring a 1953 coronation portrait, a white metal? harp keychain tool, and a Waterloo souvenir knife with a yellow tassel.
