Two pieces of yellow gilt metal effect costume jewellery by the American manufacturer Monet. The first item is a link bracelet featuring alternating polished rectangular links and open rectangular links pavé-set with clear round faceted crystals. The bracelet is secured by a fold-over clasp. An incised rectangular cartouche on the underside of a polished link reads © MONET. The second piece is a slim, rigid hinged bangle. One half of the outer circumference is pavé-set with a single row of clear round faceted crystals, while the reverse is finished in polished yellow metal. The bangle features a hidden box clasp with a thumb tab. The interior of the band is incised with the mark © MONET. Both pieces exhibit a consistent aesthetic of polished metal and brilliant crystal accents.
