A George III style mahogany? display cabinet of breakfront form, constructed in a single piece. The cabinet features a stepped cornice above a central projecting section, flanked by two full-length cupboard doors. Each door is fitted with astragal glazing in a geometric lattice pattern composed of octagons and diamonds. The interior is fitted with three adjustable wooden shelves that span the full width of the interior. The piece is supported on a plinth base with bracket feet. The doors are equipped with small brass keyhole escutcheons and internal lock mechanisms. The wood surfaces show a rich grain, likely a combination of solid mahogany and mahogany veneers. No maker’s marks or labels are visible on the exterior or interior surfaces.
