An assembled collection of six mahogany? dining and armchairs in various English styles. The set includes four matching Queen Anne style side chairs, each featuring a square-top frame enclosing a solid vase-shaped fiddle-back splat. These chairs are supported by cabriole front legs ending in pad feet and slightly raked square-section rear legs, with drop-in seats upholstered in a cream and gold foliate damask fabric. The collection further includes an Edwardian style mahogany? open armchair featuring a fretwork pierced splat in a geometric shield motif, with curved arms terminating in scroll grips and a needlepoint floral spray upholstered seat. A further Sheraton style mahogany? armchair is present, featuring four vertical slats to the rectangular back with a central diamond join, standing on square tapering legs joined by H-stretchers. The seat is upholstered in a needlepoint design depicting tulips and daisies. All chairs exhibit traditional mortise and tenon construction with drop-in seat pads.
