A vintage industrial folding step ladder constructed from a combination of tubular and pressed steel with a painted red finish. The ladder features five wooden treads, which are secured to the metal frame by rivets and demonstrate a weathered, natural grain finish. A high tubular steel handrail extends above the top tread for user stability, and the frame is supported by a curved metal stay-bar mechanism to ensure a rigid open position. The construction utilizes heavy-gauge steel components typical of mid-to-late 20th-century British utility and warehouse equipment. The front feet are fitted with small circular pads, while the rear legs terminate in open tubular steel. There are no maker marks, labels, or serial numbers visible on the frame or treads.
Approximately 190 cm.
