A vintage graduated bead necklace featuring faceted round glass beads. The necklace displays a distinct dichroic or two-tone effect, appearing with pale amber-peach tones and green cores under standard light, which shifts to a bright green fluorescence under ultraviolet light, indicating the presence of uranium glass. The beads are graduated in size from the smaller ends to the larger central beads and are strung on a matching cord with visible knots between the larger elements for security and drape. The necklace is secured with a white metal spring ring clasp and jump ring. The faceted surfaces are designed to catch and refract light, highlighting the internal green colouration.
